I have borrowed a friends brace and as a thankyou I thought i'd clean and sharpen it before using it & returning it. I was holding the jaws and clumsily dropped it & it bounced away from me.
The spring has come loose & bounced away ... somewhere ... anywhere. Possibly into the massive pile of shavings from the progress on my pine workbench top. :doh:
Are these springs something I can buy somewhere ? Does anyone in Brissy have some spare i can have ? I only received the brace today so I have some time before I have to return it but I'd like to return in better (and complete) condition than which i was given it.
