Hi everybody,
I'm new here so any advice / tips welcome! I'm planning on moving to Tasmania at the end of '15, and would like to 'hit the ground running', so to speak!
I'm a furniture & Product designer and a new design of mine (which I would like to be my first big project in Australia), ideally needs to be cut by a CNC machine from mostly ~18mm timber (I'm still getting to know the various Tas woods). It could be done with a jig of some sort, but I know from experience that CNC is faster and 100% accurate.
Ideally what I'm looking for is a small cabinet-maker, designer/maker , furniture maker etc, in the Hobart area, with CNC capabilities who would be interested in working together to make small batch runs (10's), of a very stylish designer Bread Box.
Thanks in advance!
Michael
