Hi All,
Had a couple of things on the back burner as I have been kind of busy  but slowly starting to work through some of them and making some happen.
Here is a couple of Sierra's made using a couple of different timbers one is Ironbark but I am not sure what the other one is? it came from Mapleman and is light yellowish with a slightly waxy feel and very hard.
So from Block to drilled and turned blank, then to laser and cut before then being glued together and turned. It was then sanded using Abranet before then having several coats of CA applied applied again using abranet then MM before then being buffed :D phweee !!
Little bit more work to be done before I am entirely happy with the whole process but came out reasonably good for a first attempt.
Now that we have got that all out of the way here are the photographs.
Thanks
Tony
