I have all the tools, space and wood, but I'm desperately lacking a few last things: enthusiasm, time and patience.
I went to bunnings and I couldn't find any. Bunnings didn't sell "patience", in fact it was the opposite - they seemed to specialise in frustration only. I thought these core components of finer woodwork would be readily available at better stores, but alas not.
They used to be partly sold at woolworths in the form of "beer", but this motivational unit has not been replenished after an workshop accident. The product was dangerous and the manufacturers should put a label on the side! "DO NOT DRIVE OR USE MACHINERY". I can recommend the product as it allows long hours, but quality diminishes rapidly, so it isn't suitable.
If anyone has any of the things I need **spare**, I would be glad to swap....say for a nice catcus, lawnmower or MDF offcuts.
