Query about 16 inch LEDACRAFT BS-400 BANDSAW

Does anyone know this machine? At $1353 it seems a good price.

I don't see Ledacraft mentioned much, how is their reputation?

Only odd thing are the cast alloy wheels, does this matter very much?

Seems like it would be good for ripping say 10mm slices off a wider plank.
