I'm planning on making an office desktop for the missus.
I don't enjoy/have the patience or even have the right tools to finish a desktop.... hence I'm going with a pre-finished kitchen benchtop.
They are finished in a "HardWax oil" and if she doesn't like the finish is there anything ie. clear urethane or hard burnishing oil that I can put over the top of the Hardwax without to much trouble?
