I turned this coin/key bowl (140x35 mm) as a gift when told don't bring anything....at least it will last longer than chocolates!
The timber blank was unidentified and in my research the best I can come up is Silvertop Ash (Eucalyptus sieberi) although the distinctive grain has thrown me a bit. Can anyone confirm my research or otherwise.
On checking TTIT eggs I can find Silvertop burl but no reference to sawn stock.
