Yesterday I used my bandsaw to cut a couple of large brackets for a neighbour's reno of his front veranda.
The brackets were cut from pieces of Jarrah that were ~1, long, 300 mm wide and 50 mm thick.
The brackets themselves came out a metre long ~ 100 mm wide and 50 mm thick.
Because the pieces were so heavy we cut some of the waste off in a couple of passes.
The result was some interesting curved pieces of Jarrah and this afternoon they told me they wanted to fly so here they are.
No fancy woodwork - left them rough saw, just a couple of screws/glue and hooks.
You have to look carefully to find them as they are well hidden.
