Dumb question - Chisel Roll

Hi All,

Can i ask a dumb question?

Are you supposed to store chisels in a chisel roll with the handles in the pocket or the blades?

I was given a Narex chisel roll (Leather Tool Roll - Fine Tools Australia), but don't know which way to store them. Google images has both ways.

Funnily enough, the narex chisels i have (limited edition set) the handles are too big to fit handle first. But when i tried putting the blades in, i ended up slicing the leather (not stitching, the actual leather). I'm using it for some older, less used chisels, but i was just curious what the consensus was?
