G'day all,
I'm at it again. Stuggling with my stuff. I have an air leak. Well two actually. This is my compressor
Chicargo Air, model JWA50
It is a twin motor drive. Ine leak is coming from the top (i presume the head) there are some Alan keys that will hopefulky tighten and fix that. Had to get another set as the only missing wrench was the missing size.
The problem leak is from some kind of pressure valve. It has one of those pressure valves with a keyring on it you can pull manually to release the pressure but then it has these two things, one for each motor
The plastic case circled in red has been removed from the problem side leaving the tube circled in green. The air comes out the top and will completely drain the tank. Blue arrow
The tube has inner and outer thread. The plastic case seems to be some kind of sensor perhaps to atart the motor. It just slips over the tube and is held on by a thin nut that screws on the outer thread of the tube.
Would it hurt to cap the leaking tube?
I ahve taken it out and cleaned the parts etc but has not fixed the issue.
