Hello, for arguments sake, say you are going to make a jewellery box with a veneered lid 300 x 200 (A4) size lid.
What would be the best substrate for this type of lid, ( marine ply, MDF, whatever)and what would the recommended thickness be - 6mm , 12 mm, 15mm whatever, that will fit neatly in a rebate around the top of the box sides ?
