I know it is sacrilege but I am not loving my TS LS. Hard to put my finger on exactly what I don't like but there's a few things that bug me. Perhaps I've not got it set up right or something:
1. It only has 700mm of travel without moving the base. I know you can move the base and use one of the other rulers to keep it all accurate, but that's all a bit of a pain.
2. The sliding of the fence isn't brilliant. It takes more effort than my old beisemeyer fence.
3. The fence has a 5mm gap under it, which means that I need an auxiliary fence to cut thin stock. Which leads me to the next thing...
4. I need to make a pile of new auxiliary fences - for my dado stack, a tall fence, etc. and I have to lock the Incra fence at the front (and back too).
5. The accuracy is great, but not really any better than the wixey digital gauge. In fact. The wixey was way easier to read.
6. I could just lift off the old fence if I wanted to use the saw table for something else. Can't easily do that for the Incra.
Proceed to tell me how I have it all wrong!
