Hi guys,
I've managed to get my hands on a Makita 3600BR router, it's a pretty old one but runs really well. I'm not familiar with the collets on these. It came with a 1/4" collet on it, and when I remove it, it looks very much like a threaded collet cone. I'm used to seeing an ER type collet, where the bit-gripping part sits inside and does not have any thread on it.
I'm chasing after the 1/2" collet now, but I'm unsure whether I need to collet chuck + collet cone or just the collet cone. A number of spare parts sites list the 3601B collet parts in the 3600BR parts list. Anyone have photos of the original 3600BR/3601B collet parts to help me confirm what I am needing?
Cheers!
