Mal asked for some photos of a Craftsman. This is my lathe that I bought about 25 years ago. Its an AU model machine no. 13075, which dates it from around 1970. Originally it had a 3 phase motor that at the time I changed to single phase, hence the non original switch gear. The forward/reverse level got broken when it was moved here seven years back and the quick dodgy lever I made at the time is still there!
Other changes are the splash back and the bracket that holds the lamp and coolant hose.
I didnt realise how dirty and grubby it was until I looked at the photos, it gets the oily rag treatment after every use, which is often. Feel free to ask any questions and if you want some more details.
