Hi all,
I now have 4 Nicd batteries (auction lot) to suit my one battery drill, before the battery would stay in the drill until flat and then be charged, of course a bit annoying if it ran flat midjob, so now I can have one charged up ready to go, question now tho is,
What is the best way to keep them all in a state of readiness?
The chargers I have stop charging when full as indicated by flashing light so can stay in the charger, it could be some months before I get through 4 fully charged batteries, and most likely the last two will be flat when I go to use them, so,
Is a recharge best every so often even if I haven't used the battery?
Is a small charge like an hour a week good bad or indifferent? or,
Do I just leave them to go flat? seems a waste to do that tho, or,
Do I have two in constant cycle and not bother with the 2 others?
Thanks,
Pete
