Hi all,
The motor on my bandsaw seems to have had a tanti. I have a spare but it's still attached to another piece of equipment, being a blower. I was going to keep the blower in one piece but right now I need another 3 phase motor as I use my bandsaw very often.
Anyway, I have hit a hurdle. How do I drift the motor shaft off the impeller? I have removed two locking grub screws but it is still tight as. I have tried drifting it out with a punch but it seems way to tight for it to be removed this way. I don't want to damage the motor or shaft.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
