I am reading some plans and want to understand the framing specifications in relation to tie downs and spacing.
-m12 bolts for tie down at 1350 ctrs. Jambs and corners top plate to floor frame.
Is this referring to the use of threaded rods and washers? How are the 1350 ctrs measured? Do you put first rod 200mm from end and then measure 1350 ctrs?
- There is am alternate suggested using GI straps to top and bottom plate with m12 bolts at 1350 ctrs.
