And from Perth there is Neil Erasmus, maker of fine custom furniture and runs a woodworking school in the hill area. Second from left ...
There were the usual powertool representations (lots of them) ...
But also quiet Japanese tools ...
... displays of vintage hand tools by the Handtool Preservation Society ...
... and lots of tools for sale ...
Young children were encouraged to have a go ...
I had entered my chair in the furniture making competition. Each year I enter something to make up the numbers. I am probably the only handtool-orientated member of the Fine Wood Association, the club that runs the competition.
