I wasn't sure which thread to put this in, but since it's commerce-related... Marketplace it is. If it would be more appropriate elsewhere, let me know.
I've got a couple of pieces of furniture I'd like to sell. Usually, when I don't have a specific project on the bench, I make things just because it's a style I want to explore or familiarize myself with, or just because I think it would be fun to try it out. Sometimes they sell via my passive, Gumtree, Instagram, and word of mouth approach, other times my girlfriend just ends up with free stuff...
Right now I have a hall table and a coffee table I'd like to sell, and I was hoping that someone who is exhibiting at the Maleny Wood Expo might be willing to let me put my stuff in their stall on the basis that it would be mutually beneficial. If I had about 8 more pieces I would just book my own, but two just isn't really enough.
No sense talking numbers in this post. PM me and we can discuss that side of things.
I'll stick some photos of the pieces at the end of this post. One is a Nakashima inspired natural edge coffee table in King Billy Pine and Tassie Myrtle, and the other is an "Arts and Crafts Movement meets Modernism" hall table in NG Rosewood and Huon Pine.
