A friend has asked me to repair a very slightly rotten leg on one of his wooden dining chairs. He had the chair stored under his house and one of the legs must have been touching the soil. The leg needs extending by no more than 1.5 to 2mm. Can anyone suggest what would be the best product to use? It would need to be able to adhere to the existing timber as well as being hard enough to take the load of someone sitting on the chair. Ideally, I would also like to be able to match the colour of the chair leg. Thank you.
