Hello, I just picked up a W Tyzack Sons Turner No. 121 handsaw and cannot find any reference to it anywhere on the internet. The Saw has etching all over the plate. One section of etching mentions "This saw carries a full guarantee". Next there is a No. 121 (guessing this is the model. Then it says Super Silver Steel. Then the large Elephant Branding, with the logo and "W Tyzack Sons & Turner Ltd Sheffield Est.d. 1812. Then "Tested for Hardness and Temper. It has a "6" stamped at the heel designating 6PPI. The plate is 26"long, and the tote has 4 screws, 1 being the makers mark. The makers mark button says Trade Mark Nonpareil with the Elephant logo in the middle. I was considering restoring the saw as the plate itself does not have much rust but it does have a kink that will need some hammer work. So before I embark on a full restore I would welcome any input on information about this saw. Look forward to your replies.
