I'm hoping someone here with a similar Harvey saw or at least a similar fence may be able to help.
I received the saw a few weeks ago, but as I work in WA and the saw is at home here in Qld, I've only just finished putting it all together and aligning everything and I'm guessing this may well be a result of something that I've done wrong, rather than a fault with the fence.....or at least I'm hoping so anyway.
I'd contact the supplier (MWE) but I don't expect they'd be around over Easter and I'd like to get this sorted so that I can play with it while I'm home for the Easter break.
Although the assembly instructions are a little short on detail, they do warn about ensuring that "the cam foot contacts the cam on the fence lock handle before you place the fence on the rail, otherwise the fence will not lock onto the rail tube", and although the tiny photo that accompanies the instruction doesn't shed any further light, I'm pretty sure that I have it mounted properly.
