News article on ABC this morning: http://ift.tt/1a31MsQ They are talking about Alum Ion batteries for phones which last for about 7.5 charging cycles longer than Lithium Ion (7500 v 1000 cycles). It's also flexible and can be charged in about a minute. Cheaper material to use, and lighter to boot. Sounds like it could have implications for the power tool industry as well.
