I've just bought a second-hand table saw, contractor style, that I'm in the process of cleaning it up.
The top is heavily stained/rusted but doesn't seem to be pitted, at last on the small section I have managed to clean.
Is sand/bead blasting an option to get the crap off or is that too aggressive? I want to get the various mechanical bits and pieces blasted prior to repainting and if I can get the top done, it will save lots of elbow grease.
