afternoon everyone
got myself a gifkin dovetail jig for christmas this is the first time i have tried to use it
if found thru the course of setting it up that i have a lot of flex it the router head thru the locator/ guide rod's from the plate, resulting when you put your finger on top of the cutter i can get approx 1mm sideways movement, this appears to be causing issues with the end result of my dovetails not lighning up and seating in properly. Has anyone experienced the same in their routers, if so how did you overcome the issue
the router i am using is a triton (smaller of the 2 )
thankyou in advance for any feed back
cheers Tony
