This is a block of figured Queensland Maple.
Dimensions are nominally 400 x 250 x 50.
In reality its about 450 long but needs one end docked off because of insect damage. I've left it longer because if it wants to end split it'll have to split through the snotty stuff first.
It came off a face cut so its tapered. Thickness is 50mm on the narrow end, running out to 75mm on the thicker end.
It's still rough sawn, pictures don't do it justice in terms of showing the colour or grain. That's okay... I think they show enough that you get the idea.
Could be chopped apart to make about 50 pen blanks, or knife handles, or pistol grips, or resawn for box making, or just use it like it is for a bowl blank. If you want it for box making talk to me - we've got a run of 7/8" quarter cut QMP that would be a little less busy for the sides and bottoms.
Weight is 6kg, Postage is ex 4854 so you can calculate the freight to wherever you might be. We do have stuff heading to the US next month and could send it with that then FedEx it on if theres any North American buyers here. Are there any USA/ Canadian buyers here???
