I slightly dropped my lathe motor and it kinda landed just a little hard on the shaft.
It's seems to be out about 10th/mil measured at the drive end. Just enough to
transmit a slight shake to the spindle.
It's an old 1 HP motor and very big by modern standards.
Is it an easy thing to get the armature off the shaft to get it straightened?
