Just a few pics of some of the common spiders that are about here....
bee nabbed by a spider in a flower8.jpgbee nabbed by a spider in a flower3.jpg
A white jumping spider nabbed a bee, taken at night time

Not sure what this one is called, but about 75mm in length and she's got a feed, I say she because there was a tiny male? hanging about in the web and this seems to be how it is for some species of spider/s
IMG_1597 (500x375).jpgIMG_0722 (500x375).jpgIMG_0721 (500x375).jpg
Golden Orb Weaver, taken at night, first one is not the same one in the next two pics, the second two she/he was completing the spiral, it's all action with each leg doing something specific
IMG_0714 (375x500).jpgIMG_0712 (375x500).jpg
St Andrews Cross, these seem to be about all the time
IMG_0202 (500x375).jpgIMG_1897 (500x375).jpg
A huntsman doing what I like to see them doing, controlling cockroahes
ground dwelling spider.jpg
A ground dwelling spider, look closely in the centerish of the pic.
