Hi all,
Just doing a bit of saw maintenance today, and testing squareness of blade to mitre slot. Using a dial indicator mounted on a plate which has a runner in my mitre slot ( with zero play ), I am getting .04 to .05mm which I think is a little over 1.5 thou. My thinking is this is pretty good, but wondered what others might think?
It's a contractor style saw, so i'd have to loosen the trunnions and start tapping away with a mallet and peice of wood, so am wondering if I risk possibly making it worse?
