Hey Guys
im still in the process of welding the car trailer on the other forum but i want to nail the rest of the frame with the MIG instead of TIG
i was using the TIG yesterday on some small stripped screws and i noticed i could see the arc very easily and i was only using 10 amps
now when i MIG i cant see jack rabbit, you guys have mentioned it must be the smoke are there ways around this? i was just looking for a new helmet but gathered if i can see the TIG weld at 10 amps the helmet shouldn't be the problem?
i have been deterred to finish off the trailer for now because i cant master up hill TIG so im just going to MIG it
