My Mamiya C220 arrived today and she's a beauty!.
Just about as close to mint as you get.

The really great thing is both lens are fitted with UV filters and with neither of them having so much as smudge on them,
I'd say they've always been on.

The Mamiya C220 was made back in the early 1970's.
It's a twin lens reflex camera with a range of fixed focal length lens.

Just incase there's some that don't know the twin lens style of camera.
The lens at the top is a viewing lens and only lets you see the image of what's in frame.
The picture is taken by the lens underneath, both are fixed at the same focal length in this case 80mm.

The basic reasoning behind it is to have as little as possible between the lens and the negative to gain the best result, and it does that very well!.
The camera has six more lens which I'll have great fun tracking down over time.

Once I get my enlarger and other gear out of storage back in Mildura, I'll be able to set up a small darkroom and run some rolls through it. :2tsup:

Only my opinion but the C220's not just the best looking camera ever made, it's optics produce some truly beautiful images.
I'm really glad to have one.

Cheers
Trev.
