I've been observing quite a bit of kids furniture that is raw... From various commercial places such as Ikea.
All of them have a finish on them that is very smooth, even in corners and odd places.
Other than onerous hand sanding, how do they do this on a commercial scale? The quality of the finish is excellent.
Do they use some sort of mop sanders or a form of sandpaper-blasting?
I'm interested as I make a lot of kids stuff in batches (5 tables and 20 chairs last week) and getting the sanding right takes as much time as the rest of the job! If I make the same tool/s, it's sure to save me time and $$$
TIA
