Hi all,
A friend of mine's daughter asked me to make her a jewellery box when she was 19 and now she will be 21 in 4 weeks time. I told her it would take me a while but I'm sure she didn't think it would take this long.
Given that her grandfather passed away recently will make it even more special as the body of the box is made from Yarran which was collected from her grandfathers sheep farm in NSW. The timber insert in the lid and the feet are made from Tamorind and the dimensions of the box are 300 x 200 x approx. 100 high. It took me a while as this is my first jewellery box and also my first attempt at flocking. Critique is most welcome as I am keen to improve and appreciate any comments.
Cheers,
Nev
