My baby girl is turning 21 shortly so as she has been using a cheap shop bought easle for her painting I thought I would make her something a little bit more substantial.
the base is made frome some mystery pieces of hardwood which came from a bloke who used them under his crane(gave me approx 200 4by4's). The photos don't do them justice as the Long pair are a deep brown with lighter swirls and the other smelled a little like turps with a rich coffee colour with a lighter heart line.the frame is vic hardwood not sure which species came from a mixed lot. The frame can go from verticle back about 30 degrees and the rest can slide up and down with 2 top hooks that also slide up and down in and out.its stands about 190cm on a 900x700 base
its finished with livos kunos. I only did the one coat as it won't be long until it's covered with paint.
