Hi all
I normally hang out in the woodturning section but I recently was given a Hercus 260 ATLM serial# 18990.
It was from a school and is believed that it has never been used and from the look of it I would not doubt it. BUT it has been in humid storage for all that time but it only appears to be surface rust and nothing major. When I move the apron it looked brand new underneath.
I need to change to motor as it has 3ph and I only have single ph at home.
I have not used a metal lathe since school so I will be asking a lot of questions so please be gentle on me:U
Any info on my machine would also be great.
Also what is the difference between ATM and ATLM?
