After having some palm stabilized I noted that the take up of the Cactus Juice appears to be quite variable, possibly due to retained moisture in the blanks. This lead me off on a bit of research.
I was reading some of Kurt Kertzog's articles on pen blank stabilization where he mentions the thermo setting phase of the stabilization process being completed by submerging the blank in a zip lock bag in just off the boil or a "soft boil" boiling water. Does any one use that technique?
