IMG_0397.jpgIMG_0398.jpgIMG_0395.jpgIMG_0399.jpgIMG_0396.jpgGday all,
Quick question. I have inherited a selection of chisels. Bench, mortise, turning and a few homemade.
Most seem to be WARD chisels or at least have the stamp CAST STEEL.
All things considering they are not in bad shape. But a lot of surface rust. And finally the question, is it ok to hit them with a wire wheel to help speed up the cleaning process?
I would like to get these back to useable standard. Starting flattening the backs of a few on my diamond stones. Have A LOT of work to do.
cheers
