We're moving to Tassie and everything must go. This is not an auction. I have around 2 cubes of Blackwood in varying sizes, lengths and quality as well as around half a cube of Silver Ash and some largish section Honduras Mahogany (from the 80's). The Blackwood ranges up to about 4.5m long, the S.A around 3.5m, the RC and SQ about 5m and the HM around 4m. Quality ranges from sprung, bowed, twisted, or borer traced and knotty to select grade boards. There are plenty of fiddleback boards in the blackwood for box making as well as larger furniture pieces. Pretty well all sizes are present through to 200mm wide in the Blackwood, 400mm in the SA, and 300mm in the HM. Prices will range from $1000 to $8000 per cube dependent on quality, dimensions and quantity purchased. The timber has all been air dried for a minimum of three years in a shed. I'll post some of the SA and HM in the coming days. The timber is at Kin Kin on the sunshine coast. Bring a trailer and grab yourself a job lot or make an offer for the lot. I know you want photos now so here are some of some figured blackwood.
