This forum is great and provides a lot of useful information and help from forumites. Hopeing of some help with my problem. Have been making a lot of objects over the last ten years including an extension dining table for 12 and the chairs and numerous boxes. Decided to give pen turning a try and have made a number of slimline pens which I am quite pleased with. Decided to make perfume applicators as Xmas presents and purchased the kits from Trend timbers. Noted these are slightly different in that instead of drilling a 7mm hole it requires a 8mm hole. Question is do I need special bushings as the brass tube have some slack on the pen mandrel or will the bushes for the slimline pen be OK.
