Assistance Sought - Ryobi HBS9000

I have the opportunity to purchase a Ryobi HBS9000 for $20; the motor alone must be worth that. The cable casing and associated grommet have perished and the vendor could not be bothered replacing it, so he purchased a new and larger one.

If any contributor owns one of these units, please answer the following:
a. General opinion of the machine,
b. Availability of spare parts preferably here in Australia but also o/s
c. Owners Manual - willing to e-mail me a copy?
