New Vice, how to install?

I purchased this Vice yesterday but after getting it home and realizing it came with no instructions I am wanting to know the following?

1. I presume in the picture it is upside down?


2. Does anyone have this Vice and if so how did you got about installing it?


3. I obviously need to make a front jaw for it, but would you make rear jaws as well?


4. The main thing I want to know is, when making the front jaws, you need to drill for 3 holes for all 3 rods, don't you? Most of the videos I have watched on installing vices, the jaw simply sits above the rods and you then screw it to the front metal jaw but this one is different, am I correct?

Appreciate any advice.
