For some reason I thought I needed a scratch awl.
I don't need one I have a few brought ones two steel scribes no make that three .
A home made marking knife as well.
Which is getting a make over next.
So this one is rose she oak plus mild steel.
She oak was taken to 1200 grit and given a few whipes of linseed oil.
Steel polished .
Over all I'm happy a few things learnt .
Not sure if I'm completely happy with shape of the handle.
But I do like the striking button .
That was last minute decision and I think it payed off.
Dimensions about 187.567mm long lol 7 inches in the old money
