Hi guys,
Hoping someone can help please. The Jet 16 is my first scroll saw, and I recognize it is an entry level machine so i should have pretty low expectations. I'm fine using the pinned blades - but I want to get into some finer work, and having trouble with the pinless blades.
The top clamp is okay, but the bottom clamp doesn't hold the pinless blade even at it's tightest. I thought perhaps there was a second clamp that I had to fit depending on the type of blade, but it's the only one it came with. The top clamp does tighten sufficiently, but not the bottom.
I didnt' think I had bad coordination skills, but the bottom clamp is also tucked away pretty out of the way. Perhaps i'll get used to it, but my first priority is to work out how to clamp pinless blades at the bottom.
Any help of advice please?
Thanks and kind regards,
Todd
