I'm about to order another Hengtai VFD.
I had several PM and forum post expressions of interest after my last purchases. They have since proved themselves to be quite OK and the build quality is as good or better than the Huanyang ones. My 'new' manual translation has been tested (by SimonL) and found to be readable and nearly correct :). Simon found a couple of possible 'improvements' in the fixed speed parameter settings (which actually means the manufacturer's Chinese manual is wrong...)
I will correct these findings in the next edition :). I have also found a few things to check when they arrive and to 'correct' a couple of assembly 'tolerances' that I would not leave as they are... I'll inform anyone ordering one or more with that information in detail.
I've contacted my 'friend' Xiuxiu in Shenzhen City, and asked her to update their best prices for me and if they were prepared to post to individual addresses - which they are. She is getting back to me with better than advertised prices shortly. Expect to pay between $70 and $75 (Aus) each delivered for 0.75kW single phase 240V versions in a metal case (HT1000B) and $65 to $70 for open ones (HT900A or Y900A). There is also a slightly cheaper open version HT800/S100 (about $60 to $65) but it is apparently not variable speed but a fixed speed between 0 and 70Hz or 100Hz and less parameter options for ramps and such. This version may be perfectly OK for things like coolant pumps though, where you don't need to change anything other than convert single to three phase.
My intention is to collate who wants what, negotiate a final price on the basis of the numbers required and then place an order for the lot. At the point where the price is final, I will let you know and need you to deposit the amount for the unit(s) you want into my bank account or PayPal. I will provide those details by PM or email to each individual who orders one or more.
If that is an acceptable proposal, let me know. I would like to place the order by the end of next week or shortly thereafter.
