Thought I'd share my drop saw bench. I've always wanted to make something like this due to the huge storage and versatility of the bench. I plan to install a fence on both sides which will run on a track so I can move it out of the way if bench space is needed. I was concerned about getting the saw flush with the top so I installed some threaded inserts and adjusted the height so it's flush with the bench. I'm also going to make a box behind the saw to capture the dust.
The drawers are installed with 500mm full extension slides ($6 on ebay!). They work a treat and are strong enough to hold my stuff. I still need to install a few more drawers and add the drawer fronts.
