I just learnt something new: HuanYang make VFDs for 220/240V single phase input and 380/415V 3-phase output!
The model number has a -T added to the end (maybe meaning 'Transformer').
While they are more than twice as expensive as 'ordinary' inverters which give the same maximum voltage out as the input, they would allow 2 or more speed 3-phase motors to run without modification.
This is particularly interesting to owners with European mills, geared head drill presses and other multi-speed tools.
