We have had new windows installed to replace the old sash type windows.

The installer fitted angles on the outside of the window but only to the sides and the top, not the bottom. The end result is that there is a thick black seal along the bottom. It doesn't look very nice and I wonder why they couldn't fit an angle along the bottom. I know there is a slope along the bottom, but surely something could have been done.
