My 13 y.o. daughter is a Dr Who fan, and after last year's bookweek Dalek project she decided that she wanted her bedroom door converted to a TARDIS door.
At the moment I'm just waiting for a motion sensor to arrived from eBay, then the LEDs and window panes can be fitted.
I was tempted to add sound effects, but contented myself (and daughter) with the top sign being remote controlled to change colour, flash, blend etc., via a credit card remote, or a phone app
My daughter did lots of the measuring and cutting, and most of the painting, and captured it in timelapse video on her iPad (finally got some use out of it, after the school forced everyone to buy one, and hasn't really done anything with them :( )

P.S. can anyone tell me why all the pictures are sideways? They are oriented correctly according to my camera, and three different pieces of software on my PC...
