At Perth's Woodworker Show yesterday I bought a secondhand spokeshave. The words ' No 52 ' are imprinted into it. A handwritten note on it said that it was originally a No 52 but had been converted to a 52R. It is a convex metal spokeshave.
Does anyone know how old this spokeshave is?
More, does anyone know where I can get a new blade for it? The existing blade has been repeatedly sharpened: it has worn almost back to its centre slot.
Happy days,
KevinB
