I recently bought a Wadkin PK bench saw. It had been in storage for a year or two, and most of the accessories were piled on top. The protractor is missing, but this casting is there instead - and I'm sure it's not part of the saw.

The face is 7" wide and 3¼" high. The vertical hole is ~Ø11/16", and set back 5/8" from the face. The centreline of the slot has a radius of 2" and the slot is ¾" wide.
I wonder if someone intended to adapt it for use as protractor on this saw - even though it's a bit short (well, a lot short :C).
If anyone recognises this casting, please let us know what it is?
Cheers, Vann.
